Mickey Mantle signed this Sports Impressions ceramic card in a bold blue Sharpie garnering a PSA 10 GEM MINT by PSA's autograph grading standards. This is part of a 7-card set in which Mickey Mantle commissioned Sports Impressions, Inc. to create a 4" x 6" ceramic card set. This card, #122 of 1,500, is titled Rookie Edition. Mickey Mantle had a .267 batting average with 91 hits, 13 homers, 65 RBIs and 61 runs scored in 96 games in his rookie season in 1951. The art used for these ceramic cards was created by famed sports artist Robert Stephen Simon, a very popular artist in the sports cards and collectibles community.
