(LOT 1734)
1933 Uncle Jacks Unopened Wax Pack Ed Brandt on Top PSA 8 NM-MT – POP 1; Highest PSA Example!

BEST OF THE BEST!!! The 1933 Uncle Jacks Candy Card set includes some of the scarcest subjects extant. This New England based regional issue was distributed in Springfield, Mass. and Newport, RI, with gray blank back baseball player cards, the popular Uncle Jacks, Inc. candy and a redeemable coupon secured within a see-through wax paper wrapper. The total checklist includes 30 different subjects, with each card potentially printed in blue, red, green, gray or purple tints.

For 100 of the pink colored redeemable coupons placed at the bottom of the pack, an individual was entitled to receive an official league ball as well as participate in a contest to win a free trip to the 1933 World Series. The offered Wax Pack with a purple Ed Brandt on top just happens to be the SOLE and HIGHEST GRADED example. Fresh to the hobby, this card was unearthed from an incredible vintage find, and this is the first time it is being offered to the collecting community!
