2X WS CHAMP!!! In 1980, Pete Rose, in only his second season in the City of Brotherly Love, helped lead the Phillies to a World Series title. Playing alongside Mike Schmidt, Greg Luzinski, Garry Maddox, Steve Carlton and Tug McGraw, to name a few, Rose and the Phillies won 91 games, the NL Championship over Houston and then the World Series in six against the Kansas City Royals. Offered here is a near-complete set of 1980 Liberty Matchbooks featuring Charlie Hustle. Consisting of ten graded and colorful examples, this near-set includes: PSA 9: Yellow, Red, Hot Pink & Aqua (all of which are the highest graded in the hobby(; and PSA 8: Lavender & Orange (one graded higher), Tan, Blue and Red. White is not included as no example has ever been graded.
