During the 1940s and '50s, Pee Wee Reese, along with Ernie Banks, Alvin Dark and Harvey Kuenn, was one of the best shortstops in the Major Leagues, and he remains one of the greatest of all time. The ten-time All-Star is offered here on his 1953 Topps #76 issue graded 8.5 NM-MT+ by PSA. This career-Dodger's card highlights Reese's league-leading 30 stolen bases season of 1952. He retired with 232 swipes. This delightful card from the 1953 Topps issue is still highly sought-after, especially when displaying bright color, fantastic imagery and great borders and corners like the one offered here. This one looks as clean as the day it was pulled from a pack in '53.
