OBSCURE JACKIE!!! Jackie Robinson's unparalleled MLB standing stems from his iconic stature as MLB's inaugural modern-day player, leading to a myriad of endorsements throughout his Brooklyn career. One such promotional effort was the HOF second-sacker signing a two-year deal with WNBC/WNBT to serve as Director of Community Activities for these stations. This PSA Type 1 photo revealing Jackie in formal attire after he signed his contract on February 4, 1952. The 7" x 9" crystal-clear image portrays a beaming Jackie outside his new office, and while there are several stray creases around the perimeter, as well as several notable areas of soiling/discoloring along much of the right side, these flaws do not compromise Robinson's brilliant pose.
