1911 T3 Turkey Red Cabinets #47 Frank Chance at Bat Checklist Back PSA 4 VG-EX
CHICAGO'S PEERLESS LEADER!!! The awe-inspiring T3 Frank Chance batting pose is only evident on his Turkey Red subject, with this PSA 4 offering boasting an outstanding central image of the Cubbies' Peerless Leader. A momentous Cooperstown inductee, Chance was the final link in the immortal "Tinker to Evers to Chance" double-play combination. While a fine first baseman and batsman, Chance's place in Cooperstown was solidified by his managerial success, whereby from 1906 through 1910, he led the Cubs to four pennants and two championships. The crystal-clear Chance batting pose proudly boasts vibrant hues, with the relatively clean surfaces eluding any glaring creases. Accounting for the grade is standard corner wear (including a significantly rounded upper right corner), as well as a negligible surface scuff situated near the upper left frame directly above the unknown backstop. Indeed, this PSA 4 heirloom is truly one of Frank Chance's most compelling cardboard issues!
