Presented here is a PSA 4 VG-EX 1911 T3 Turkey Red Joe Tinker cabinet, with this legendary Hall of Famer achieving his popularity by being the first link of the iconic "Tinker to Evers to Chance" Chicago Cubs double-play combination that claimed two world championships in 1907-08. The HOF Cubbies shortstop played 14 of his 15 MLB seasons in the Windy City, including two years in the Federal League. Ironically, his finest .317 batting average was achieved with the Reds in Queen City, the one year he left Chicago. The crystal-clear Tinker central pose has sidestepped any glaring blemishes, with the assessment due to notable staining/soiling in the upper left border quadrant, other areas of spotted soiling along the borders, and corner wear consistent with the grade.
