PRINCE HAL!!! In 1910, Hal Chase played first base for the New York Highlanders who finished second in the AL 14.5 games behind the Philadelphia A's. Considered one of the great first basemen of the era, Chase sullied his name in favor of money and was ultimately banned for life from baseball.
