1952 Topps #261 Willie Mays Rookie PSA 4 VG-EX
ROOKIE WILLIE MAYS!!!... Willie Mays erupted into the National League in 1951 earning the NL Rookie of the Year award behind 20 home runs and 68 RBIs. Two years later, with a year of military service squeezed in between, Mays won the NL MVP award and led his New York Giants team to the 1954 World Series championship, the first in 21 years. The Say Hey Kid added another MVP to his resume in 1965 and finished his career with an astounding 660 home runs, 12 Gold Gloves and 24 All-Star nods.

He is well regarded as the greatest five-tool player in MLB history. Offered here is a spectacular 1952 Topps #261 Rookie of Mays graded 4 VG-EX by PSA. This wonderful card presents excellent centering and vibrant color. The strong borders frame a youthful image of Mays and the surfaces remain clean and crisp. This mid-grade example likely earned its 4 VG-EX assessment due to its minimal OC on the reverse as all other aspects of the card are respectable to say the least. This is one for your collection!
