1952 World Series Game 1 "Jackie Robinson 1st World Series HR" Ticket Stub PSA 3 VG

JACKIE'S 1ST WS HR!!!... In all, Jackie Robinson played in six World Series leading the Brooklyn Dodgers to the 1955 World Series title, the first in franchise history. When Robinson burst onto the baseball scene in 1947, notably breaking the seemingly impenetrable color barrier, he was one of the most well-rounded players of the era with hitting prowess, speed, fielding ability, temperament and power. After appearing in 12 World Series contests in 1947 and 1949 with little to show, Jackie Robinson and the Dodgers played the New York Yankees once again in 1952. In Game 1 of that Series, Robinson notched his first of two career World Series home runs in the bottom of the second inning off Allie Reynolds. Offered is a pastel-colored entry pass for that fateful game at Brooklyn's Ebbets Field. This pink and orange Pavilion ticket stub has been encased 3 VG by PSA and shows minimal wear save for likely fading or discoloration. The Dodgers won 4-2 over the Yankees. This beautiful ticket would make an excellent addition to any historic event ticket collection!
