One of the rarest autographed 1952 Topps cards is the scripted #365 high-number subject of Brooklyn Dodgers coach Cookie Lavagetto. "Cookie" ended his renowned Dodger playing career after the 1947 campaign with the Dodgers, but he certainly went out "in style." He will forever be remembered for his clutch pinch-hit double in Game #4 of the '47 Fall Classic that broke up Bill Bevens bid for a no-hitter with two outs in the bottom of the ninth at Ebbets Field. Lavagetto's walk-off double off the right-field wall scored both Gionfriddo and Miksis, with Brooklyn stunning the Yankees via their "heart-stopping" 3-2 victory. Similar to that iconic moment comes along this "Pop 1" highest graded signed rarity that is one of only two known autographed Lavagetto '52 Topps cards!
