The Goudey Gum Company celebrated Joe Cronin's popularity by awarding the Hall of Fame shortstop with three separate Goudey cards, with his autographed #189 subject presented here in a stellar PSA holder. The illustrious PSA "Pop" Chart lists only 11 other signed examples, justifying why another specimen sold for $1.7K in an August 2020 auction. Even corner wear and a few stray wrinkles do not detract from the imposing Cronin fielding image that includes a fine black fountain pen "Joe Cronin" autograph emanating approximate "7" strength!
