(LOT 64)
1952 Topps #332 Tony Bartirome "High Number" PSA 9 Mint - Highest Graded PSA Example!

As luck would have it, the Topps Chewing Gum Company somehow included Pittsburgh Pirates rookie first baseman Tony Bartirome as checklist number 332 in their 1952 "high number" series. Bartirome played in his inaugural MLB game on April 19, 1952 and his last major league appearance was later that season on September 28th. Though he would "bounce around" in the minor leagues for ten years, he would never play in the big leagues again, with 1952 being his only MLB campaign. Fortunately for Bartirome, his legacy lives on forever via this jaw-dropping PSA 9 Mint 1952 Topps #332 offering that along with four other examples, stands tall as the finest of its kind! A perfect addition to any world-class PSA registered '52 Topps set, the bygone Pirates first sacker never looked better with his classic portrait image, razor-sharp perimeter, pinpoint corners and immaculate surfaces all combining to justify the "best of the best" PSA 9 Mint assessment!
