(LOT 480)
1952 Topps #315 Leo Durocher PSA 8.5 NM-MT+

HALL OF FAME NAME!!! Leo the Lip made his bones as a middle-infielder before finishing his baseball career as one of the great managers in Major League history. Durocher won two World Series titles as a player and then two more as a manager. As a player he earned the nickname "the All-American Out", but as a manager, he earned a place in baseball's Hall of Fame. Offered is Lippy on his high number issue from 1952. Pack fresh with eye-catching colors and razor-sharp edges and corners. An absolutely gorgeous representation of Durocher encapsulated in a PSA 8.5 NM-MT holder. Consider that there are only five examples grading higher than this POP 1 from the 1952 Topps High-Series. This beauty deserves a second look!
