ROOKIE!!! Aaron's rookie season was as solid as they come, with a .280 average, 13 home runs and 69 RBI's. Aaron's average is of particular interest. Only once between 1954 and 1971 would the amazing Aaron hit under his rookie mark (.279 in 1966), hitting over .300 in 15 of his first 20 major league seasons. For consistency, there was never anyone better. One of the games greats, this Rookie card from 1954 looks better than the offered grade of PSA 4 VG-EX holder. Nice mid grade example of this Hall of Famers Rookie card.
