(LOT 337)
1992 Michael Jordan & Clyde Drexler NBA Finals - PSA Type 1 Encapsulated Color Photo – Measures Approx. 8" x 10" – Includes PSA Type 1 LOA

The 1992 NBA Finals would pit the Chicago Bulls vs. the Portland Trailblazers or as most sportswriters and fans deemed it: "Michael Jordan vs. Clyde Drexler!" Indeed, these two players were the major reasons each of their respective teams were playing in the finals, with Jordan eventually capturing the league MVP award. The Bulls would ultimately claim their second consecutive championship by besting Portland in a tightly contested 6-game series, winning the clinching game#6 by a 97-93 score at the Chicago United Center on June 14, 1992. Both of these world-class superstars would meet their lofty expectations with Drexler averaging 24.6 points and Jordan a staggering 35.8 points (including a sensational .526 FG%) over the six games. As a grand testament for that classic 1992 NBA Finals, we are proud to present this brilliant 8" x 10" color photo depicting Clyde Drexler being defended by Jordan in what we assume to be game#3 played at Portland's Memorial Coliseum (that notion is based on the bold pen markings along the left border that clearly state "Blazers/Bulls – Game 3-4Q"). The breathtaking central image includes an abundance of colorful hues and has retained a majority of its original pristine attributes. Its only flaws are the aforementioned left border markings that do not impede upon the extraordinary action pose of Jordan defending Drexler. Chicago would win game#3 by a 94-84 margin, and as previously mentioned, eventually claim the NBA Championship in six games spearheaded by the godly-like exploits of the legendary Michael Jordan!
