(LOT 333)
c.1980's Michael Jordan Dunking - PSA Type 1 Encapsulated - The Sporting News Photo – Measures Approx. 8" x 10"

Most would agree that Michael Jordan not only stands as the NBA's greatest all-time player, but is likewise the most electric "dunker" whoever graced a hardwood floor. There have been some amazing dunkers throughout the years including Julius Erving, Dominique Wilkins, Vince Carter, Kobe Bryant, LeBron James, David Thompson and not to be outdone, Darryl "Chocolate Thunder" Dawkins, but none of them could out perform Jordan who had the uncanny ability to leave the hardwood floor to stratospheric heights! Indeed, there were various times that Jordan appeared as if he were donning a red cape like Superman himself, with "His Airness" creating a miraculous amount of space between his "Air Jordan's" and the hardwood floor. This 8" x 10" PSA Type 1 memento depicts one of Jordan's classic dunks as a Michael Thompson of the Los Angeles Lakers helplessly looks on. Issued by "The Sporting News", the timeless image reveals Jordan's fiery facial expression, tongue hanging out, as #23 is in the midst of slamming home another thunderous two points. The photo itself is in outstanding condition, highlighted by crystal clear clarity and a super clean surface. The only notable flaw is a diminutive surface impression on the lower left white border, with this spine-tingling heirloom bound to excite any Michael Jordan enthusiast for years to come!
