One of the more eclectic Lou Gehrig photos you will ever come across, this c.1930's International News 8" x 10" photo portrays the Iron Horse in a classic swinging pose from an "aerial-like" view. Gehrig's mighty swing eventually led to 493 lifetime round trippers, with Lou once swatting four consecutive home runs in a single game against Connie Mack's Athletics at Shibe Park on June 3, 1932! We have seen many Gehrig batting images, but rarely do you come across an image reflecting his powerful swing from a seemingly air-borne perspective.
