(LOT 367)
1950 Bowman Football #5 Y.A. Tittle Rookie Card (PSA Mint 9) – "1 of 3"; Highest Graded Example!

One of Pro-Football's greatest all-time quarterbacks was the legendary signal-caller Y.A. Tittle who accumulated a sensational 17-year Hall of Fame career with the Colts, Forty-Niners and Giants. His extensive list of accolades includes a 1963 MVP award, 7 Pro-Bowl appearances, three times leading the league in touchdown passes, and he is still one of only eight quarterbacks who threw an NFL record seven TD's in a single game! Synonymous with these world class highlights comes along this "jaw-dropping" PSA Mint 9 1950 Bowman #5 Y.A. Tittle ROOKIE CARD that just happens to stand alongside two other copies as the "best of the rest!" Yes folks, of the nearly 600 PSA encapsulated copies, this "pack-fresh" prize is one of the three supreme specimens on the illustrious PSA "Pop" Chart.

Similar to Tittle's outstanding achievements, the card itself emanates sparkling attributes starting with a near-perfectly centered image that portrays the Canton, Ohio inductee in an imposing "passing a football" pose. Donning his classic green hued #63 jersey, the image is virtually flawless, showing no ill effects over the past 70 years, with the blinding white borders, blistering sharp corner tips and relatively clean verso. Yet, as most hobbyists would attest to, a "1 of 3" highest graded immortal Hall of Famer easily suffices a world-class addition to any esteemed PSA Registered compilation!
