1908 Nap Lajoie Cleveland Leader Scorer
Issued by the Cleveland Leader newspaper in 1908, this celluloid scorer features a Lajoie portrait in blue tint against a gold background, encircled by white lettering in a blue border. Measuring 1-1/2" across, it has its original leather fob and cardboard backing with baseball dials with moving parts that still work perfectly, that would keep track of the score and inning of a baseball game. As nice as we have seen, this vintage specimen is in NM to MT condition. This is the first one of these we have ever offered and have only seen a couple ever sold elsewhere.
