(LOT 1019)
1921 Babe Ruth National Game of Baseball Original Board Game (New to the Hobby)

Issued in 1921, this 7" x 19" (14" x 19" when opened) Black & White fold-over Baseball Board Game shows a large photo of Babe Ruth in his Yankee Uniform looking at his bat next to the Yankee Dugout. There is also a small oval photo of the Bambino in the upper right side without his cap. On the back of the fold-out is a tribute written by Reverend Bernard Clausen titled "What Babe Ruth Teaches America", which talks about Ruth's life stories and places his personal spin on the Babe. Very interesting content from what the Babe meant to the world in 1921 by the Reverend. The Board opens to a green & white Baseball Stadium layout, with directions on how to play the game. The Game shows heavy overall wear, but considering its almost 100 years old, its an incredible find. Extremely RARE Ruth memorabilia for your collection!!!
