Stan Musial PLAYING DAY CHECK! Dated July 5th, 1946, Musial signs this check to Mrs. Mary Musial. Mary, Stan's Mother, got a nice gift in 1946 for $50! Or was it rent? A great check written off the LINDELL TRUST COMPANY of St. Louis, Missouri. A strong fountain tip pen presents beautifully. After completing his military service during the war, Musial returned to baseball in 1946 and resumed his consistent hitting. Keep in mind this check is dated 1946, the year he came back in FULL FORCE earning the NL MVP, was voted as on the All-Star Team, Cards won the World Series and he was the Batting Champion!
