"Home Run" Baker pays the IRS $314.24 in 1922! Check has been drawn off THE STATE BANK OF TRAPPE on February 20th, 1922. Almost a 100 years old, this check is in beautiful condition. Baker led the AL in home runs from 1911 to 1914. He had a batting average over .300 in 6 seasons, had 3 seasons with more than 100 runs batted in, and 2 seasons with over 100 runs scored.
