1952-55 Dormand Postcards Set of 40 plus 2 Variations with Mantle, Ford, Campanella & Reese
RARE SET!!! The 1952-55 Dormand Postcard Baseball set features the photography of Louis Dormand, a famed New York Photographer and was released according to his content. The 40 Postcard set was issued by the Mason Candy Company to fulfill fan requests for photos. Each 3-1/2" x 5-1/2" Postcard showcases a full color posed player image with a facsimile autograph in black within the borderless front. The backs were released with either a green or blue color with a short bio and career statistics as well as normal Postcard information. The most sought after Postcards are Mantle, Stengel, Sain, Slaughter, Howard and Skowron.

The New York Yankees, Brooklyn Dodgers and Chicago WhiteSox were the only team represented in this set, with the WhiteSox getting 3 cards, Dodgers 5 and the Yankees 32. This Complete Base Set of 40 Postcards is offered in VG+EX condition due to normal wear and 2 commons with writing on the back. This Postcard base set of 40 all have colored backs with 2 extras as follows: Joe Collins (No Patch on Shoulder) & Johnny Mize (Blank Back).
