First 6 Sports Illustrated with Inserts August 16, 1954 - September 20, 1954
This group of 6 Sports Illustrated's are the first 6 Issues ever produced. Starting with the First Issue with Eddie Mathews on the cover dated August 19, 1954 in overall EX condition with the trading cards still inside, this one doesn't have a shipping label on the cover. Issue number 2 dated August 23.1954 also has the trading cards still intact inside and also is offered in EX condition with no shipping label. Issue number 3 is VG with a few pen marks on the cover with a shipping label and issues 4-6 are all EX+ with shipping labels on the front of all of them. Overall a nice Vintage group of the first 6 issue of Sports Illustrated.
