1958 Hires Root Beer Dodger Set all with Tabs including Drysdale, Snider & Reese
DODGER SET!!! Like most baseball cards issued with a tab in the 50's, the Hires Cards are extremely scarce today in their original form. The basic card was attached to a wedge-shaped tab that served the dual purpose of offering a fan club membership and of holding the card into the cardboard carton of soda bottles with which it was distributed. The Dodgers were one of the teams involved in the original 66 card set. Their were 10 Dodgers in the set and this lot has all of them with tabs in overall EX+ condition unless noted as follows: #13 Newcombe, #23 Reese EX, #34 Labine EX, #41 Zimmer, #42 Podres VG+EX, #54 Neal NM, #55 Drysdale, #61 Snider SP EX, #63 Cimoli & #74 Walker.
