RARE GROUP!!! The 1888 Allen and Ginter (N43) The World's Champions series consists of 50 cards, each measuring 3-1/4" x 2-7/8", and are enhanced versions of the Allen & Ginter World Champions (N29) series of 1888 – a set that honored the best athletes of the day. Offered here is 23 of the 50 card series PSA graded and Raw all from the 2nd Series. The design features full color lithographs on thick white cardstock with the athlete's name and sport on the front. Like the N29 cards, backs of the N43 set present the entire "Series Two" checklist along with advertising of the Richmond tobacco company.
