(LOT 121)
c. 1930's Babe Ruth Opens A Trust Account - PSA Type I Original Underwood & Underwood Photo – Measures Approx. 8" x 10" – Full PSA Type 1 LOA

This early 1930's Underwood & Underwood photo portrays a somewhat slim looking Babe Ruth giving a check to Frank L. Hilton (Vice-President of the Bank of Manhattan) with Christy Walsh looking on. The Babe opened a Trust Account that day with the $50,000, which eventually increased to $200,000 based on various enterprises by Ruth including Baseball games, Vaudeville, Motion Pictures and miscellaneous Commercial Contracts. The Bambino is donning his period style formal attire with the image depicting the finest possible clarity and contrast. Measuring 8 x 10, it shows 4 corners all cut, with minimal creasing and an Underwood & Underwood tab taped on the reverse side. - Full PSA Type I LOA
