1961 Mickey Mantle / Roger Maris Stellar AM Radio
Produced by Stellar-Astra Trading Corporation in New York, offered here is an original tube AM Radio. This Radio was made in honor of the battle for the 1961 Home Run record by New York Yankees Legends, Mickey Mantle and Roger Maris. Rarely seen in this condition, this working model is in overall EX+ condition with normal wear and a minor blemish above the off-on dial. The housing cabinet is made of wood and the face is a cream-colored plastic which includes a raised figural baseball player on the metal grill sound screen.

Measuring 7-1/8" wide, 5-1/4" tall and 3-7/8" deep this piece is one to own. All of the pieces are original including the green baseball diamond knob, the baseball bat tuner and all of the tubes light up. The electric cord has been rerplaced by one from the same time period. Incredible piece of Mantle-Maris memorabilia that is rarely offered, especially in this condition!!!
