(LOT 31)
1903 E107 Breisch Williams Freddy Parent "Type 1" (PSA Good 2/MK) – The SOLE PSA Encapsulated Copy and the Highest Graded Example, Qualifiers Notwithstanding, on the COMBINED SGC & PSA "Pop" Charts!

This extremely obscure E107 subject of Boston Americans shortstop Freddy Parent in an eye pleasing PSA Good 2/MK holder just happens to be the SOLE PSA encapsulated copy! Qualifiers Notwithstanding, it also resides as the HIGHEST GRADED example on the COMBINED PSA and SGC "Pop" charts. Slick-fielding shortstop Freddy Parent was one of the main cogs in Boston's 1903 Championship run. While his classic Carl Horner portrait pose portrays fine contrast and clarity, the overall image has been somewhat compromised by a crease beneath his right ear as well as some soiling situated near the upper left quadrant.

The "MK" qualifier is due to some previous notation partly erased along the verso's right edge, with the "One of a hundred and fifty prominent Baseball players" verbiage slightly compromised via a surface abrasion on the "of" text as well as a prior tape stain affixed near the middle of the card. Most significantly, the critical Parent central image is primarily intact, the card's sheer existence (only 5 total graded examples) places it as one of the most elusive E107 subjects on the planet, and its current PSA grade, qualifiers notwithstanding, stands tall as the pinnacle Freddy Parent assessment!
