Herb Pennock Signed Cancelled Check 1927 Yankee-Murderers Row PSA/DNA
This check has been signed by Baseball Hall Of Famer Herb Pennock, who played from 1912 through 1933. He is best known for his time spent with the star-studded New York Yankee teams of the mid to late 1920s and early 1930s. Pennock was regarded as one of the greatest left-handed pitchers in baseball history.

Mack later called his sale of Pennock to the Red Sox his greatest mistake. This check has been written out to CASH for $25.00 on 3/2/43. Interestingly enough, the verso is stamped, "Boston American League Baseball". This 6 time World Series Champ might have owed a small $25 bet to a member of the Red Sox Ball Club.
