1934 Goudey #61 Lou Gehrig PSA 8 NM-MT
IRON HORSE!!!... Imagine digging into your pocket in 1934, as our grandfathers may have done, to buy a pack of gum for a single penny. The cent would have bought a bright red and blue wrapper, with the slogan "Lou Gehrig Says". Inside that pack, was a single card that could have been one of many legends, but to get the offered card here, that would have been thrilling. PSA has graded this gem a strong 8 NM-MT. The two images of Gehrig which shine forth from this card's surface have been undistorted by the elements.

The prominent, colorful batting pose is the card's focal point. On the back, Lou tells young gum-sters about the "Knot Hole League of America." Every feature of the card's design and presentation is as inspiring today as it must have been when the card was opened in 1934. Colors front and back are gorgeous, and print quality is outstanding. This is an exceptional Gehrig piece that enjoys a PSA 8 NM-MT grade.
