(LOT 32)
1958 Topps #30 Hank Aaron "White Name" (PSA Mint 9) - "NONE Graded Higher"

The 1958 season would see Henry Aaron lead the Milwaukee Braves back to the World Series against the powerful New York Yankees; with Aaron leading the way via his 30 round-trippers and outstanding .326 batting average. While the Braves would lose to the mighty Yanks in a close 7-game series, that heartbreaking defeat is the antithesis of this spectacular PSA Mint 9 "White Letter" Aaron that could only bring sheer joy to the most advanced enthusiast! Not a single "White Name" specimen has ever been graded higher, placing this brilliant keepsake as one of the finest specimens extant!

Aaron's classic portrait pose depicts a good natured smile from the Home Run King, affixed to a stunning robust green setting. Bright white borders, near-perfect centering, gleaming surfaces, pinpoint corners and an immaculate verso are the final compliments for this card that easily merited its hallowed "Mint" stature. With high-grade 1950's/'60's Hall of Famers achieving highest recorded price tags every day, synonymous with Aaron's record breaking batting achievements, this amazing offering just may reside as the next record setting issue!
