Extraordinary 1955 Cangrejeros de Santurce Team Signed Wilson Baseball & Its Original Box (23 Signatures) w/a Rookie Era Roberto Clemente Signature - Full PSA/DNA LOA w/a "NM/MT-8" Autograph Grade & "NM-7" Overall Grade

Virtually all baseball enthusiasts are well aware that the iconic Pirates Hall of Fame right-fielder Roberto Clemente made his Major League debut in the 1955 season. What is somewhat ambiguous, however, is Clemente's inaugural professional baseball origin prior to his 1955 Pirates debut. In October 1952, Clemente signed his first professional contract with the legendary Cangrejeros de Santurce Puerto Rican Winter League club, playing in only seven games and batting a dismal .234. The next season, Clemente would be given a starting job in the outfield, batting a more formidable .288 and catching the eye of many professional scouts via his "5-tool" skill sets. While he would continue playing for this prominent Winter League club, the Dodgers signed him in the amateur draft in February 1954.
