HIGH GRADE!!! Despite a late start to his career at the age of 29, Wilhelm pitched for 21 seasons and appeared in 1,070 games. Ironically, Wilhelm's only career home run occurred during his first at-bat. Even more mind-boggling, his only career triple came in at-bat number two. An impact player who changed the game with his un-hittable knuckle ball, this rookie Wilhelm card is taken from the 1952 Topps High # Series and well deserving of its MINT 9 grade.
