1888 N29 Allen & Ginter William Ewing Baseball PSA 9 MINT
BLAZER!!!… The great HOF Catcher "Buck" Ewing was considered the best all around player of the 19th Century.Graded MINT 9 by PSA. Hall of Famer. This is one of just two examples in the MINT 9 holder with nothing grading higher out of the 61 cardsd graded. The offered card is the unrivaled "key" piece in Allen & Ginter's Second Series of The World's Champions. "Buck" Ewing, the only Hall of Famer selected for inclusion in the 50-card production, was considered one of the finest all around players of his day.

The great catcher, shown here in a very desirable portrait pose, was captain of the legendary New York Giants teams of the late 1880's. Its white background extends without interruption to showcase the strong edges. The corners have a pinpoint look, which is rare due to the tobacco packages these cards were distributed in. Finally, the cardback presents a phenomenally crisp list of the Series' subjects. Out of over 900 N29's graded by PSA, no card has ever received the PSA GEM MT 10 tier. This copy is in pristine condition with gorgeous colors and sharp corners. A must card for any high end N29 Allen & Ginter collector.
